CBD PUNJAB’S FLAGSHIP PROJECT PAKISTAN’S BIGGEST IT CITY, NSIT CITY TO TAKE CENTRE STAGE AT DATA FEST 2025 ISLAMABAD
Punjab Central Business District Development Authourity (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), is set to participate in Data Fest 2025, taking place on November 11–12 at the Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad. The event is being organized by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
CBD Punjab will showcase its flagship project, CBD NSIT City Pakistan’s biggest and first-ever IT City envisioned to revolutionize the nation’s digital and innovation ecosystem, in line with the vision of Nawaz Sharif IT City as articulated by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
CBD Punjab will establish a dedicated corporate pavilion at the event, where its team will engage with policymakers, investors, and global technology leaders to highlight the groundbreaking features of CBD NSIT City, the future global hub for technology, education, creative industries, and high-value innovation.
Spanning over 800 acres in Lahore, CBD NSIT City continues to attract global attention. The Silicon Block, fully STZA-approved and holding a Development License, provides a cutting-edge ecosystem for multinational corporations and startups. Several global technology giants have already acquired land in the Silicon Block, underscoring strong foreign direct investment (FDI) potential.
The Astra Block will host Pakistan’s first FDA-approved laboratories and data centers, while the project also features Pakistan’s first Film City, aimed at empowering the nation’s creative and media sectors. The Education District, designed for collaboration with top national and international universities, will play a pivotal role in nurturing Pakistan’s next-generation tech talent. Infrastructure development is progressing rapidly, with the Celestia IT & Office Tower nearing completion.
Chief Executive Officer CBD Punjab, Imran Amin, will represent the authority at Data Fest 2025 and participate in key symposiums to share CBD Punjab’s vision for building a globally competitive digital ecosystem.
