DCFA Pakistan Meets New livestock & Dairy Development Board CEO to Address Sector Challenges
A high-level delegation from the Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association of Pakistan (DCFA Pakistan) met with Dr. Shahid Amin, the newly appointed CEO of the livestock & Dairy Development Board, to extend their congratulations on his new role and discuss key challenges facing the dairy and cattle farming sector in the country.
The DCFA Pakistan delegation was led by Chief Organizer Shahbaz Rasool Warraich and included senior officials such as General Secretary Shahid Imran Gondal, Chief Media Officer Abid Saeed, and President of the North Chapter Raja Zahid Sarfraz. The meeting was also attended by key members of the dairy farming community from different regions of Pakistan. Founder President of DCFA Pakistan, Shakir Umer Gujjar, joined the meeting online.
During the discussion, the delegation highlighted the significant challenges being faced by dairy and cattle farmers in Pakistan, and the potential for the sector to contribute more effectively to the economic growth of the country.

DCFA Pakistan announced its intention to submit a detailed proposal of recommendations to the government aimed at fostering long-term policy-making for sustainable growth of the sector. These recommendations will focus on addressing the issues that hinder productivity and profitability for farmers, especially small-scale producers.
Dr. Shahid Amin expressed his gratitude to the delegation for their visit and assured the farmers of his full support. He acknowledged the crucial role that dairy and cattle farmers play in society, stating that the government is taking special initiatives aimed at supporting small farmers and enhancing their capacity to contribute to the economy.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to continue working together to strengthen the dairy and cattle farming industry in Pakistan.
