Bank Alfalah Limited, one of Pakistan\u2019s leading commercial banks, and the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities that will enhance commercial banks\u2019 participation in Pakistan\u2019s capital markets, increase liquidity, and help in broadening the investor base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the MoU, BAFL will evaluate multiple avenues, including serving as a financier for Margin Trading System, becoming a custodian clearing member, exploring professional clearing membership, utilizing NCCPL\u2019s capital gains tax system, and collaborating on Shariah-compliant financial solutions. The partnership also opens opportunities to further facilitate non-resident Pakistanis through Roshan Digital Accounts (RDAs) by connecting them to Pakistan\u2019s capital markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
