In line with the Go Cashless Economy Drive led by Prime Minister
Shehbaz Sharif and the State Bank of Pakistan, aik by BankIslami is launching a focused activation
campaign at Creek Walk Food Street in Karachi from November 7 to 16, 2025. The initiative
underscores aik\u2019s mission to promote Shariah-compliant banking and accelerate the adoption of secure
digital payments nationwide.
This initiative aims to promote the adoption of digital payments with aik QR\u2014a fast, secure, and
Shariah-compliant solution that empowers merchants and customers to embrace a cashless, interest-
free lifestyle. Throughout the campaign, local merchants will receive seamless, convenient digital
banking services that fully align with Shariah-compliant banking principles.

customers,\u201d said Ashfaque Ahmed, Chief Officer of aik. \u201cWith this QR payment feature, merchants can
accept secure digital payments in seconds, while customers enjoy a Shariah-compliant and cashless
experience that aligns with Pakistan\u2019s national vision\u201d.
To support this initiative and enhance customer acceptance, aik QR payments will offer 50% cashback
for aik and BankIslami customers and 30% cashback for customers of other banks on payments (terms
and conditions applied).
