Realme 17 Pro Series Leak Hints at 10,000mAh Battery and 200MP Camera

The Realme 17 Pro series could bring a major battery upgrade to the company’s mid-range smartphone lineup, with a new leak pointing to a massive 10,000mAh battery, a 200MP primary camera, and a high-refresh-rate OLED display. If the reported specifications prove accurate, the upcoming phones could appeal to users who prioritise battery life, photography, and smooth screen performance.

The information was shared by tipster Debayan Roy, known as Gadgetsdata, on X. However, it remains unclear whether the specifications belong to the Realme 17 Pro or the higher-end Realme 17 Pro+. Realme has not officially confirmed either device or its specifications.

Realme 17 Pro Series Could Feature a 10,000mAh Battery

The biggest highlight of the leak is the reported 10,000mAh battery. This would represent an approximately 43% increase over the 7,000mAh battery in the Realme 16 Pro+, potentially offering longer usage between charges.

Such a capacity could benefit users who regularly play games, stream videos, browse social media, or rely on mobile data throughout the day. However, actual battery endurance will depend on processor efficiency, software optimisation, display settings, and usage habits.

Charging speed remains unknown, meaning users will have to wait for further information to determine how quickly the larger battery could recharge.

The Realme 16 Pro series debuted internationally in January 2026 and arrived in Pakistan in April. The successor is now attracting attention as consumers look for details about its potential upgrades.

Display and Performance: What the Leak Suggests

According to the reported specifications, the upcoming phone could feature a flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a standard 120Hz refresh rate. The display may reportedly support up to 165Hz in selected games, although this does not mean that every application would run at that refresh rate.

For performance, Realme is reportedly considering MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 chipset. Its real-world capabilities, gaming performance, and power efficiency remain unconfirmed and will need to be assessed if the device launches with this processor.

Together, the reported display and chipset could position the phone as an option for users seeking a balance between entertainment, everyday performance, and battery endurance.

200MP Camera Could Return to the Pro Series

The camera system is another notable part of the leak. The device could feature a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and an additional ultrawide camera.

However, the reported resolution does not necessarily indicate a major photographic improvement. The Realme 16 Pro+ already features a 200MP main camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Improvements in sensor quality, image processing, and software optimisation would therefore be important in determining whether the new generation delivers better results.

The leak also mentions a plastic frame and a rear camera module resembling that of the previous Pro+ model. If these details apply to the direct successor, the frame material would differ from the aluminium construction of the Realme 16 Pro+.

Expected Realme 17 Pro Price in Pakistan and Launch Date

Realme has not announced the launch date or official Pakistani prices for the new lineup. The previous generation provides a reference point for estimating its arrival in the local market.

At launch in Pakistan, the Realme 16 Pro was priced at Rs. 169,999, while the Realme 16 Pro+ cost Rs. 199,999, both with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Based on that pricing and the previous release schedule, the Realme 17 Pro series could debut internationally in early 2027 and potentially arrive in Pakistan around March or April 2027. This is an estimate, not a confirmed launch timeline.
